Lucy (approx DOB – September 2012) – Arrival at shelter September 2014.

Lucy was rescued by a local couple and brought into  the shelter as soon as we could make room for her. She is a very affectionate and loving dog. she loves to play and to spend time with humans and other dogs. Lucy is very well behaved, and will make a wonderful companion!

Lucy will be available for adoption after November of 2014

Juliet

Adopted!

Juliet (approx DOB July 2010) – Arrival at shelter July 2014–

Juliet was rescued by a tourist in Chan Chemuyil, a small town just south of Playa del Carmen. She had a  very tough life there, but despite her hardships, remains a very sweet and loving dog. She craves attention, and is very gentle with everyone.

Juliet tested negative for Heartworm, but is positive for Erlichia and parasites and is under treatment for those conditions. Once she is feeling better and the Erlichia is under control, she will be spayed and will be ready for adoption around the end of August 2014

Camilla (approx. DOB May 2014) – Arrival at shelter, Mid June 2014–

Camilla was left outside our shelter door with her sisters Phoebe, Minnie and Tessa. They were about 5-6 weeks old, and needed treatment for Coccidia (intestinal parasite) and worms. As of July 30th, They are all better and she has been spayed.

 

Camilla will be moving to her new home in Feb. 2015

Phoebe (approx DOB  May 2014) – Arrival at shelter Mid June 2014 –

Phoebe was left outside our shelter door with her sisters Camilla, Minnie and Tessa. They were about 5-6 weeks old, and needed treatment for Coccidia (intestinal parasite) and worms. As of July 30th, They are all better and she has been spayed.

Minnie was left outside our shelter door with her sisters Phoebe, Camilla and Tessa. They were about 5-6 weeks old, and needed treatment for Coccidia (intestinal parasite) and worms. Minnie and her siblings are now all healthy and spayed and are ready for adoption.

Reggae

Reggae (approx. DOB March 2008) –  Arrival at Shelter March 2014. 

Reggae is a senior dog that was Heartworm positive on arrival. He is slowly getting well, and has been moved out of quarantine. He is more active now, and he will be done with the process of treatment for heart worm at the end of August 2014. Reggae is a very calm elderly dog. He will be an extremely easy dog to keep. Our fondest wish is to give our Reggae a home before it’s too late. Will your home be the one?

Grace (approx DOB  December 2013) – Arrival at shelter June 2014  –

Grace was brought in by one of our neighbors. She had been hit by a car and her owners didn’t really seem to care. She only has minor injuries and should have no lasting effects from the accident. She is out of quarantine now and available for adoption. Grace is very calm and sweet, but needs time to get to know new people. She gets along very well with other dogs! Continue reading

Vane was rescued from the streets at one month of age and kept safe by a local woman until there was room for her in the shelter. Vane and her sister Peri is outgoing and friendly and is searching for her new family. She loves to play and doesn’t want to be left out of anything! She is spayed and has been vaccinated. Paris is an adult female who is very outgoing and friendly She was rescued from the street, and was in need of treatment for a very tough mange issue. Paris is all healed now and ready for her new family. Paris is a very sweet and playful girl and loves being around people. She would make an amazing addition to any family!
